Candidate Statement

Hello and thank you for considering me to represent you.

I’m running to become a delegate to the California Democratic Party for Assembly District 23 because I care deeply about our local community and strive to be of service at the highest level possible. I'm a North Star Progressive Democrat candidate, born and raised in Pacifica and Co-owner of Breakers Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch in Rockaway Beach. I’ve worked as a Data Analyst with Google and Apple in the past and was Development and Communications Coordinator from 2016 to 2020 at Pacifica Resource Center, one of eight San Mateo County Core Service Agencies that provide safety net services to county residents in need of food, emergency housing assistance, emergency utility assistance, shelter and other basic needs.

I was recently a member of San Mateo County’s Shared Micro-Mobility Ad Hoc Advisory Group that worked on a shared micro-mobility program in our county to provide residents and visitors with an affordable, convenient and sustainable transportation option and I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Pacificans Care which is Pacifica’s only community foundation that helps support the efforts of Pacifica Resource Center, Pacifica Youth Service Bureau, Pacifica Senior Services and Pacifica Child Care Services.

Representing you, I pledge to continue my political activism work in areas such as Housing, Environment & Climate Change and Mental Health while engaging in long-term coalition and community building to strengthen the Democratic base. Elect me and I will make sure your voice is heard in order to improve our quality of life and help shape a better future for us all.
